NT 564 Cylindrical Mandrel Tester complies with ISO 1519, ASTM D522 and DIN 53152. It is used to assess the coating layers of the pigmented paints, the varnishes and relevant products. It is a special instrument for testing crack resistance or stripping performances from the metal plates at bending around the cylindrical shaft. Procedures can be based on pass/fail or diameter to failure methods.
